About me
I am a Registered Nurse with a diverse clinical background, practicing since 2017. I earned my nursing degree in New York City and have worked across multiple specialties, including dialysis, medical-surgical, telemetry and cardiac critical care (CCU).
Currently, I practice as an ICU nurse, where I have developed strong clinical judgment, precision and a deep commitment to patient safety.
In addition to my hospital experience, I have worked in a plastic surgery setting alongside a well-established physician, where I gained valuable exposure to aesthetic procedures and patient care. This experience strengthened my passion for aesthetic medicine and for helping clients enhance their natural beauty and confidence.
I am dedicated to continuous growth in aesthetics and regularly pursue advanced trainings, certifications and hands-on education to refine my skills and stay current with the latest techniques.
At Maya Laser Spa, I practice under the supervision of my Medical Director, Dr. Zareth Irwin, so that all treatments follow established medical standards, safety protocols and best practices. My goal is to combine clinical expertise with a personalized approach to help clients achieve their skin and aesthetic goals safely and effectively.
Our Medical Director: Dr. Zareth Irwin
Dr. Zareth Irwin is a board-certified physician with over two decades of clinical experience, serving as Medical Director of Maya Laser Spa in Irvine, California. He provides medical oversight and ensures the highest standards of safety, clinical excellence and evidence-based aesthetic care.
Dr. Irwin earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Sports Medicine and Biomechanics from the University of Oregon, and his medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University. He completed his residency in emergency medicine along with advanced training in diagnostic ultrasound.
In addition to his extensive background in acute care medicine, Dr. Irwin has pursued advanced training in aesthetic medicine, peptide therapy and hormone optimization. His approach is grounded in physiology and focused on safe, precise, natural-looking outcomes.
Dr. Irwin is committed to individualized patient care, combining medical expertise with a results-driven approach to support long-term health, function and aesthetic outcomes.
